Pre-Exam Blues

After coming to terms with the hangover that was the Champions League Final, something momentous hit me: my first exam is less than a week away. And I have not studied for this subject before.

Even before the actual exam starts, I am already having the blues. Come to think of it, why is it called the 'blues'? Why not 'greens', or 'reds'? I guess it sounds ridiculous. But wait, it only sounds ridiculous because 'greens' and 'reds' are hardly ever used. Its the same with clothes. One guy in a thousand wears his pants high (higher than usual anyway) and wears thick spectacles too, suddenly he is the odd one out, the nerd. But if everyone sports this fashion, all of a sudden it's considered normal and not ridiculous. So it a subject of relatively.

It's probably obvious my thinking is not exactly coherent at the moment. You could say my train of thought is off the rails (haha?). What has exam worries got to do with 'greens' and nerds?

I can't think of anything to write. But then again, my train of thought went off the tracks. All right, till next time loyal readers, 'cya'.

Musing

Apparently, left-handers feel fear more acutely then their right counterparts.

I am a left-hander.

I admit, I fear a lot of things.

From the cockroach hiding in the corner, to the probability worksheet lying on the table.

However, there is only one fear now that leaves me feeling helpless, on the brink of just surrendering and hiding in the corner of the room.

But I can't. I know I can do it. I have to. As they say, failure is not an option.

I am in deep merde. But it's definitely not over yet. I still have a fighting chance.

Peer Pressure

Peer pressure.

For the better, or for the worse?

Kids beg their parents to buy the latest clothes, phone, because of peer pressure.

Many children smoke, take drugs, because of peer pressure.

But,

Peer pressure is without doubt,

My main motivation to study.

Seriously.
