Ip Man (Yip Man)

Watch Ip Man on yesterday (Friday) with Guet Cheng. Initially wanted to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua but the the position of the seats available was not suitable. In Malaysian cinemas, you have to be 18 and above to watch Ip Man, but we didn't realize until we are about to enter the cinema hall!! The guy behind the ticketing counter just sold it to us. I suppose we look older than our actual age or he doesn't care. The movie is about Yip Man who is highly skilled in the Wing Chun style of kung fu. This is based on a true story and is set during the 1935-1945 period. Apparently, one of Yip Man's students was the one and only Bruce Lee!! Generally, the movie was okay. There is plenty of action as this is a kung fu movie. Yip Man is virtually unbeatable in the movie. I also completed most of my Christmas shopping (whew!!) while in 1 Utama.

In exactly one week, I will off to National Service. 3 months without computer, radio, TV and driving. I just want to enjoy my stint as a NS trainee and get it over with.
